Valerie De Backer is a Belgium-based photographer with a background in fine arts.  Embracing the tactility of the analogue medium she loves to create captivating visuals with a dreamy and nostalgic aesthetic. Her work spans a diverse range of subjects, including people, still life, fashion and nature. Through thoughtful composition and use of light and color, she creates imagery that transports viewers to another time and place.
